Today FM
Noho helped out our friends in ‘Get Broadcasting’ who were looking after Today FM’s re-branding event in February 2017. We created a spot that illustrated the breadth of Today FM’s content and illustrated how it reaches all parts of the country. The animation was created in 3D and the concept was based on waveforms that animated to the sound design supplied by the client.
We had a very tight deadline and had a lot of reflective metal to render in a very short space of time. We used a realtime renderer to achieve the look we wanted and it managed to render the scenes in much shorter times than a conventional renderer. We also came up with a clever way of animating the metal bars using simple 2D animations from AFX.
It’s a slick piece of animation based on a nice workflow with a quick turnaround. We nearly busted the production triangle with this one!
